The hill on North Portage Path is currently closed for major repairs; this construction is expected to last through the summer and possibly into the fall. Check back here for any updates. If you are coming from the north, driving south on Riverview/Merriman Road, here are easy driving directions to get you around the construction. You may also want to download and print the map of the detour: Driving south on Merriman: instead of turning right onto N. Portage Path, continue driving straight on Merriman Road to Treaty Line Road. TURN RIGHT onto Treaty Line Road and drive through the Summit County Metro Park (obey speed limit of 25 MPH). Treaty Line Road deadends into North Portage Path (and road construction). TURN LEFT onto North Portage Path and continue driving to the Front Gate of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens.
