The Murder

The evening begins in the Music Room where guests will meet the troupe and see some ‘memorable’ performances. Will the show go on as planned? Or will the troupe’s dark past reveal itself once again? Guests will interact with and interrogate the suspects while trying to figure out who is innocent and who has something to hide. The evening concludes in the Manor House Reception Hall. Guests will enjoy light refreshments and make a final analysis before all is revealed and the murderer is identified.

Guests are encouraged to dress in latter 1920s attire. The award-winning Murder in the Mansion program is recommended for ages 17 and older. To fully participate, please expect long periods of standing and walking, as well as going up and down stairs.

Geared toward participants ages 17 and older, this program requires long periods of standing as well as walking up and down stairs in the Manor House.

Presented by the Stan Hywet Historic Players, a volunteer acting troupe who interpret 1920s Stan Hywet.
