Step into the fascinating world of antique needlework tools during this special one-day event at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens featuring renowned author and collector Dawn Cook Ronningen. Guests will enjoy an engaging and educational program exploring the history, artistry and practical use of historic needlework tools and sewing accessories.

• Morning lecture: Journey of a Collector
• Afternoon lecture: Mystery and Practicality – Antique Needlework Boxes
• Q&A session — an opportunity to learn about your own antique needlework treasures
• Lunch and a self-guided Manor House tour
Dawn Cook Ronningen is the author of Antique American Needlework Tools and Sewing Rolls, Needle Rolls and Huswifs: 150 Years of History and Tradition and brings decades of collecting expertise and storytelling to this immersive experience.
