  • All tours are self-guided.
  • Masks are required in all indoor spaces on the estate. Masks are optional in the gardens and on the grounds. Please social distance.

     


Please note that we do not allow backpacks, umbrellas or strollers in our historic house. Backpacks and umbrellas may be stored in the Powder Room of the Manor House, and you may park strollers outside the front door during your tour. Please read our museum guidelines before you visit for more details. 


Explore the former estate of F.A. Seiberling, co-founder of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, features including the  historic 65-room Tudor Revival Manor House, Gate Lodge (birthplace of Alcoholics Anonymous) and historic gardens and the Corbin Conservatory.

2021 Operating Hours and Museum Guidelines & Social Distancing Guidelines

  • Daytime hours through December 30, 2021: open Tuesday - Sunday, 1- 4 pm for self-guided tours.  Closed to the public on Mondays, except select evenings for Deck the Hall. Please note that Deck the Hall is a separate admission from daytime tours.

  • Masks/facial covering for guests, staff, volunteers and vendors are required in all buildings and indoor spaces. They are not required outside on the grounds, but please social distance.
  • Take lots of photos, but please no camera equipment beyond your phone or handheld camera. No tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, drones, etc.
  • Please read our museum guidelines before your visit.

Self-Guided Manor House Tour | Offered 1-4 pm Tues.-Sun.

Guest will experience Stan Hywet Hall at their own pace and safely distance from other guests. In addition to this tour, admission includes a helpful visitors guide, and self-guided tours of the gardens and Gate Lodge.

Gardens, Gate Lodge & Corbin Conservatory | Open 1-4 pm Tues.-Sun.
Enjoy Stan Hywet's historic gardens and grounds at your own pace on this self-guided grounds tour. Admission also includes the Corbin Conservatory, and the Gate Lodge, featuring the exhibit, Henrietta Seiberling: A Spark for a Movement.

Gate Lodge Self-Guided Tour | Open 1-4 pm, Tues.-Sun.

The new Gate Lodge exhibit, Henrietta Seiberling: A Spark for a Movement, is an immersive experience taking guests back to 1935 with the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous in the Gate Lodge.

  • Students: receive youth pricing with a valid college ID.
  • Seniors (60+): 50% off self-guided daily tours on Tuesdays only. Please purchase your ticket in person upon arrival to receive the Tuesday senior discount. This discount is not available online. This senior discount does not apply to any of our special events: Easter Egg Hunt & Breakfast, Mother's Day, Father's Day Car Show, Off the Vine, Molto Bello Car Show, Ohio Mart, Murder in the Mansion, and Deck the Hall. 
  • Military and First Responders (Firefighters, Police, EMTs): 50% off any regular daytime tour with military ID. Discount not available online. The military/first responder discount does not apply to any of our special events:  Teas, Easter Egg Hunt & Breakfast, Mother's Day, Father's Day Car Show, Off the Vine, Molto Bello Car Show, Ohio Mart, Murder in the Mansion, and Deck the Hall. To receive this discount for a regular daytime tour, you must purchase your ticket in person when you arrive.
  • AAA: $1.00 off of any adult ticket price with AAA card. The AAA discount does not apply to any of our special events: Easter Egg Hunt & Breakfast, Mother's Day, Father's Day Car Show, Off the Vine, Molto Bella Car Show, Ohio Mart, Murder in the Mansion, and Deck the Hall. To receive this discount for a regular daytime tour, you must purchase your ticket in person when you arrive.
  • Museums For All Program: Stan Hywet participates in the Museums for All program. Admission is $3 for any guest (for up to four guests, 18 & over) who presents the U.S. government-issued electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card upon arrival. Youth and children accompanying the EBT card-holder are free.
  • Stan Hywet is CLOSED Jan.- March. Our season is April-December. 
  • CLOSED on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, & New Year's Day.
