Deck the Hall is the perfect way to celebrate the season with family and friends. Enjoy dazzling winter décor inside the Manor House, whimsical displays throughout the Estate, glowing gardens, and festive fun in every corner. Visit Santa in the Carriage House Courtyard through December 23, then warm up with cocoa, cookies, and holiday shopping in Molly’s Courtyard Café and Shop.

For a gentler experience, join us for our Sensory Friendly Evening on December 9 from 3–9pm.

Note:  Stan Hywet is CLOSED on December 24 and 25

Details to know:

  • Deck the Hall begins at 3pm and last admission is at 8pm (however, once here, you can remain on the grounds until 9pm)
  • Parking is free in our Main Lot, and when this fills, free at auxiliary lots with shuttle service - look for signage on North Portage Path for direction to auxiliary lots
  • This is a walking experience - outdoors and indoors (dressing in layers is recommended)
  • Plan on 2 to 3 hours to see everything 
  • Ticket includes a self-guided tour through the decorated Manor House and access to the grounds to see the outdoor lights (there are no *grounds only* tickets)
  • Self-guided Manor House tours are not timed - tour anytime between 3 and 7:30pm
  • Beverages, food, and strollers are not permitted in the Manor House (there is an area just outside the House to park strollers)
Calm Room Available Nightly

To help all guests enjoy Deck the Hall comfortably, we offer a Calm Room in the basement every night of the event. This quiet space provides fidget toys, weighted lap pads, a soothing light projector, a sensory-deprivation tent, noise-canceling headphones, calming music, and a small nursing area with a privacy curtain.

Visitors may use the space for up to 15 minutes. Those needing a longer break are encouraged to step outside for more time before continuing their visit.
