Camp Schedule

Tuesday, August 11 – Archaeology Day
Step into the role of an archaeologist as campers visit the secret garden currently being uncovered by Stan Hywet's Plant Management team. Then, help excavate a portion of the historic garden path and discover how clues from the past are revealed.

Wednesday, August 12 – Tudor Day
Explore the Manor House through the lens of Tudor architecture during a special themed tour. Campers will also create their own Tudor-inspired weaving while learning about the craftsmanship that makes the estate so unique.

Thursday, August 13 – Museum Day
Go behind the scenes with Stan Hywet's Archives and Curatorial teams to examine historic artifacts and documents, then work together to create a mock museum exhibit.

Whether your child loves history, solving mysteries, or discovering how museums preserve the past, this camp offers an unforgettable experience filled with exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning.

Campers should bring a packed lunch and a reusable water bottle each day.

After registering, parents or guardians will receive a required information packet from Stan Hywet's Education Department, including a behavior agreement, emergency medical form (with medication and accessibility information), photo/video release, and liability waiver.

Registration is considered complete once all required forms have been received, and a confirmation email will be sent by the Education Department.
