Should you plant it or should you pull it? Teens ages 13–17 are invited to dig into the fascinating world of native and invasive plant species during this hands-on environmental program led by a Stan Hywet horticulturalist.
Participants will learn how plants impact local ecosystems, discover ways to make a positive environmental difference, and explore the important role native species play in supporting wildlife and healthy habitats. Best of all, each teen will take home their very own plant grown at the estate!
Registration includes a self-guided grounds wristband. Teens must be accompanied by an adult to tour the estate following the program.
Space is limited to 20 participants. Advance registration is encouraged, though walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
